Passive House – Energy Efficient Technology in Glazing Systems

The global polymer processing company Rehau have once again asserted themselves as being amongst the finest in the industry. Rehau won the Energy Efficiency Initiative of the Year Award at the recent G11 awards at the Hilton Hotel in London. The winning innovation in question is the Rehau Geneo Passihaus Certified Window System and 0.8 triple glazed window with Rehau Thermo insert.

Business unit director at the Rehau Window Division, Wolfgang Gorner said “Renau Geneo is a really exciting innovation – not just a new profile design but also a new composite material which showcases the very best of Rehau’s product design expertise.”

The Passive House/Passivhaus concept originates in Germany and uses energy efficient technology to heat or cool a building.
